The Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built over 150 years ago and there is a small exhibition of it's history and the people connected with it located in the side chapel. It was built as a mortuary chapel for Lord Frederick FitzClarence, the illegitimate son of The Duke of Clarence ( who was later King William IV )  and his family. The Architect was William Butterfield.

A small guide book is on sale in the Chapel.
