About Us

Sunday services are held here at Etal each Sunday at 11am from Advent Sunday until the last Sunday of Lent. Currently  services will be at our other church, St Michael and All Angels, Ford, Northumberland TD15 2PX where we will be up to and including Sunday 21st November 2021.

The Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built over 150 years ago and there is a small exhibition of its history and the people connected with it located in the side chapel. It was built as a mortuary chapel for Lord Frederick FitzClarence, the illegitimate son of The Duke of Clarence ( who was later King William IV )  and his family. The Architect was William Butterfield.

A small guide book is on sale in the Chapel.
