The Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Etal

A very warm welcome to the picturesque village of  Etal in the heart of the beautiful Northumberland Borders. We hope you will find the peace and presence of God in this Chapel which has been prayed in for over 150 years.

In the winter months we worship at the Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Etal, from Advent Sunday until Palm Sunday at 11am.

In the summer, from From Palm Sunday to the beginning of Advent, we worship at St Michael and All Angels, Ford, also at 11am.

the service is  usually Holy Communion, with hymns and a sermon.

When there are 5 Sundays in the month, we meet at 10am, all parishes worshipping together, so please see specific details as posted for theses. The next FLAKE service will be on Sunday 31st May, Trinity Sunday, and at St Anne, Ancroft at 10am. the service will include the baptism of our curate's son, Leo Firman, and all are invited to a buffet afterwards in Ancroft Memorial Hall, where you should also park for the service as there is no parking at the church.
