Weddings

At St James’s we believe marriage is a wonderful gift from God, and we love being part of such an important occasion. We will do all we can to make your wedding personal, meaningful and spiritual, just as you want it to be.

As an ancient sacred building in beautiful countryside with our own church organist to lead the music and church tower bell ringers available to book, our church is a popular place to celebrate a wedding.

But for us, the wedding day is more than a celebration. It is a declaration before God, family, and friends that you are committing yourselves to one another for life. That’s why we don’t just want to help you prepare for your big day, but also to support you as you prepare for a lifelong marriage together.

If you’d like to explore getting married at St James’s, the first step is get in touch and to come along to our 9am Sunday service where you can meet and chat to The Revd Canon Paul Frost, our Priest-in-Charge, or The Revd Joe Griffiths, our Curate, and look around the church building and discuss next steps.
