Here at St James, we keep our little church servery's volunteers busy giving everyone regular opportunities to come along for a friendly chat whilst enjoying a cup of coffee/tea and delicious cakes/biscuits or homemade soups. It's a great way to relax, catch up with folk and meet the clergy and new people so do come along whenever you can.
If you'd like to join the servery volunteer rota or donate homemade cakes, that would be great too!
Follow us on this website and St James Gretton Facebook page for invitation reminders.
Sunday morning refreshments
Complimentary refreshments and homemade cakes and biscuits are served after our weekly 9am Sunday Holy Communion services.
Monthly Friday community cafe
Our 'Forget-me-Not cafe' is held 11am to noon in the church usually on the first Friday of the month (after the Friday morning Prayers service at 10:15am). Everyone is warmly welcome to come along for a friendly chat whilst enjoying free coffee/tea and delicious cakes.
Saturday coffee and soup mornings
On Saturdays from 10:30am-1:30pm on various dates throughout the year, refreshments and lovely home-made cakes and soups are available to anyone of all ages who would like to come along. Donations to various causes are welcomed.
