Our regular services are: SUNDAY SERVICES Morning Holy Communion every Sunday of the month at 9am and Evensong third Sunday of the month at 6pm; WEDNESDAY MORNING Holy Communion at 10am; FRIDAY MORNING PRAYERS first Friday of month at 10.15am before Forget-Me-Not Cafe at 11am. Everyone is welcome at our range of services and events throughout the year and also to visit the church building and churchyard just to look around, explore and reflect. Everyone is warmly welcome to come along for a friendly chat whilst enjoying free/coffee tea and delicious cakes from our church servery. It's a great way to relax, catch up and meet new people.
Remembrance Day Service is on Sunday 9th, 3pm at Gretton Baptist Chapel followed by parade to the War Memorial on the village green for the laying of wreaths (after the 11am service at USAAF Spanhoe Airfield Memorial with Military Vehicle Display). Organised by the Gretton and District Royal British Legion Holding Branch. St James's bells will be rung after the 11am two minutes silence.
A short, simple service for people who have lost a loved one and experiencing grief with the opportunity to reflect, pray and light a candle.
Drop in for a coffee/tea, cake, soup and chat between 10:30am and 1:30pm. Raising funds for the 2026 Flower Festival.

Come help prepare the church to make it festively lovely for Advent and Christmas time. Complimentary refreshments and mince pies.
Join us for this joyful, candle-lit celebration of the light of Christ.
Come join in the singing of traditional Christmas carols, readings from the Christmas story, and music in an atmosphere lit by candlelight. Enjoy the drinks and mince pies from the church servery afterwards.
Come listen to the retelling of the Nativity story as we gather around the manger. The Church bells will be rung and the Advent calendar window will be lit up.
Come join the traditional joyful vigil and celebration of the birth of Christ.
