Sit and relax for a while, in peace and tranquility and enjoy the beautiful Easter flowers and the stained glass windows designed by renowned Pre-Raphaelite artists. Also why not,pay a visit to the Peace Garden next to the Old Church in Seven Sisters Road where you can listen to the birds singing, maybe see a red squirrel and look at the Alberni memorial which remembers those lost when HMCG Alberni was sunk in 1944.
David and Amanda tied the knot on a lovely Autumn day in glorious sunshine and mild temperatures. The bride arrived on foot having walked up from the village hall where pre-drinks of Madeira wine were served to guests and would be the wedding breakfast venue after the service. The church was packed with guests as Amanda was walked down the aisle by her niece . After the service the couple led their guests to the Peace Garden for photos before heading back down the road to the village hall.We have few weddings in our churches so it was delight to be hosts to this wonderful couple and we wish them every happiness their new life together.
