Accessibility

There is plenty of on-street parking close to the church

Apart from the altar steps, the church has an aged but predominately flat floor throughout.

Gluten-free refresments are available by at least 24 hrs prior notice and there may be a charge.

Visitors with assistance dogs are welcome

The toilet is accessible for wheel chairs, strollers and small pushchairs

There is limited on-street car parking adjacent to the church

Our toilet has baby changing facilities

There is a defibrillator mounted on the front of the village hall, approximately100m to the north, from the church.


Our Building

Fishlake St. Cuthbert is a Grade 1 listed Major Parish Church

The coffee morning location under the tower is heated in wintertime, other heating is provided in cold weather in the chancel, and full church heating is provided for major services/events.

There are some interesting 12thC examples of the original stained glass (dating from circa 1175), including some rare examples of possible Cuthbert connections to Lindisfarne.

Our church has a single toilet

The Hare and Hounds Pub and the Old Butchers Cafe are both close by the church.


Music and Worship

Fisklake Village Choir holds concerts once or twice every year

The organ is an original Holt installed in the 1850s, not modified apart from the original hand pump replaced by a blower. It is a single manual instrument.

Groups, Courses and Activities

A coffee morning is held in the church every Saturday morning from 10:00am to 11:30am.
