St Michael & All Angels

There has been a church on the present site of St Michael & All Angels for almost  700 years. Some medieval features remain although the church is mainly Victorian having been rebuilt in 1872 following a devastating fire in 1870.

We believe that Jesus’ love is not just for those who come regularly to church but is to be shown to everyone. We are always happy to hear from people interested in our church,  please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.</span>

We celebrate our 150th Anniversary Heritage year in 2022 and have events planned throughout the year which you can find on this website.

We will be replacing part of roof in January 2022 as well as pointing some of the masonry and replacing the rainwater goods.

"The parish of Skelbrooke: St Michael & All Angels is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Sheffield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
