The church has now had the recently replaced leaded glass window smashed again. This is the way the thieves are entering the building; jumping the fence, ripping off the window guard, smashing the glass and then going in. The clean up each time of the shards of glass and the upset of putting back all the items pulled out of cupboards and knocked off counters is heart breaking and on the 9th March caused us to limit access to part of the building including the cafe. Nothing of value and certainly no money is kept in the building and we think the thieves left with bags of crisps and milk - something we give freely each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday anyway if we have it. Please keep an eye out and please let the police know anything that might help their investigation.
