Me and my Wonderzone friends want to invite you to come to the hall straight after the service at St Catherine’s next Sunday (18th) because we have made and are selling cakes and biscuits to raise money for Christian Aid. Please come along and make
sure to bring cash. Thank you! - From Connie and friends

Kirk Christ, Rushen

There is a growing and vibrant community of worshippers at Kirk Christ. It continues to serve the people of Rushen as it has done for countless generations. It is particularly noted by local people for its peace and serenity. It is significant for many people as they have been baptised or married (or both) at the church. Sunday services take place at 9:30 a.m. with a Joint Parish service at 11am on the fourth Sunday of the month. Refreshments are served after all Sunday services at the back of church.

Safeguarding

The parish of Rushen is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Sodor and Man’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
