About Us

The style of worship in St. Matthew's is in the Anglo-Catholic tradition, employing much rich symbolism to remind us continually of the central truths of our Faith.

The church building contains many beautiful features, each filled with meaning, to help our minds rise to God, to remember the Life of Christ and His Saints in stained glass and other ornaments. Several of our windows depict scenes from our Lord's life and may be a useful aid to meditation. Pictures around the walls at each of the Stations of the Cross can help us to think of how Jesus suffered for our sins.

You will be made most welcome at any of our masses. After our main Sunday mass at 10.30am we hope you will join us for coffee in the hall.
