Ecumenical Celebration and Reflection online

Here is our Ecumenical Celebration for the Parish of the Northern Plain on 24 January 2021. It’s around 27 minutes.

We are in the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity and the online Reflection and Prayer in our parish is based on the service prepared for this year by the Sisters of Grandchamp, a Christian Community in Switzerland.

Welcome from our Rector, Rev Iaen Skidmore

Readings are done by Howard Bishop and Shirley Watling.

Reflections are offered by Kirk Andreas welcomers, Dawn and Steve Parker.

Music played on the piano by Mary Bishop of Ballaugh
- A new commandment - by Roy Crabtree
- God of the Poor - by Graham Kendrick
- For I'm building a people of power - by Dave Richards

May this be a blessing to you, to all Christians, and to all whom you love, whether here on earth, or above.

7th February

If all goes well on the Isle of Man, and Covid retreats back into the shadows, we may be able to return to worship in our churches on the 7th February. If we are, it will be a 10.30 am United Parish Service at Kirk Andreas. Bishop Peter will be presiding at Holy Communion and also licensing Judith Ley as a Lay Minister.

16th May

The ecumenical celebration that was to happen in Sulby this weekend has been rearranged for 16th May when Sulby Methodist Church will be worshipping with St Stephen’s congregation .... in St Stephen’s church.
