***TIME OF NATIONAL MOURNING FOLLOWING THE DEATH OF HM QUEEN ELIZABETH ll***
Services on the next two Sundays will be a special liturgy for the period of mourning. The services are at 11.00am at Clayworth Parish Church this coming Sunday (11 September) and at 9.30am at Gringley Parish Church (18 September).
There is a Book of Condolence in Misterton Parish Church (in the Lady Chapel), which residents are welcome to sign. Votive candles may be lit - often used as a focus for prayer. Flowers (unwrapped) may be laid at the foot of the flag pole either in the churchyard or on Windmill Garden. Or just come along and sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity and be alone with your thoughts at this difficult time.

All Coronavirus restrictions are now lifted – Holy Communion is served in two kinds, with the wine by intinction (dipping). Those who prefer, may just receive the host (wafer). Some people choose to wear a face covering – it is entirely a matter of choice. Holy Communion is now administered at the altar rail.
See the post in News & Notices giving details of services, when, and where. The church continues to be open for private worship on Sundays and Wednesdays from 10.00am to 4.00pm. On Wednesdays, there is a service of Morning Worship at 10.00am for around half an hour followed by tea/coffee.
