Advent is coming - its when we take time in all the busyness and excess of the season to reflect, pray, be still and hope - that the light is coming that overcomes all the darkness of the world!

If you would like to take some time away from the demands Christmas throws at us, why not come along to a time of prayer and quiet in our parish churches, at 11am, over the season of Advent - we'll sit and be with one another and before God in the beauty and stillness of our ancient buildings, soaked in hundreds of years of prayer, adding our own as we seek light and joy to fill our communities.

1st December - St Mary's, West Stockwith
8th December - All Saint's Beckingham
15th December - St Peter's Clayworth
22nd December - St Peter's Gringley on the Hill
