St Martin's is well known for its Charity Jigsaw Festival , held annually in late August, which raises funds for local charities supporting disadvantaged and underprivileged children and young people in the local community.

The online jigsaw shop, offering probably the largest online selection of pre-owned jigsaws in the UK, is currently raising funds to support families with children/young people suffering food poverty.
