A service of Holy Communion with formal structure, using liturgy, hymns and music from the Church of England tradition.

This service will be live-streamed.

Everyone is warmly invited to this simple & reflective service to remember
loved ones who have died.

Bring a single flower for each person remembered to add to the Bouquet of Memories during the service & light a candle.

Pick up a Remembering' card from the back of the church to write & bring with you.

Refreshments will be served after the service.

Family Friendly Worship + Fun! Second Sundays at 9.30am

The Remembrance Service at St John’s will be led by Revd Anthony Smith and we look forward to welcoming members from the Armed Forces.

The service will be live-streamed as usual particularly as we may have larger numbers than normal for a Sunday service. We will finish the service outside at the War Memorial.

This is a real opportunity to reflect on the prayer Jesus gave us as a model and find ways of deepening and enhancing our prayer life - individually and corporately.

Tabletalk will start at noon with a bring and share lunch (or bring your own if on a special diet), followed by a discussion on a topical subject.

Although we will have a short opening or closing prayer and maybe a relevant Bible reading it is open to everyone from any church community or none.

This quiet, reflective fourth Sunday service contains music, hymns, bible readings and periods of silence in the Celtic tradition. You don’t have to be “religious” to attend. Those with faith, those without faith and those who are searching, are all very welcome.
