We are very pleased to welcome Alresford residents to our Open Day at St. John’s Church on Sunday, 6th October from 11.15am to 3pm.

We would love for you to come and visit your ‘other home’ in Alresford - St. John’s.

Step inside and explore our Freshers style fair to see the fantastic mix of activities, clubs and groups at St. John’s for everyone in the community!

Our indoor bouncy castle is not to be missed! Please bring your own picnic for more indoor fun. Our café will be ready with hot and cold drinks along with sweet treats!

This is a real opportunity to reflect on the prayer Jesus gave us as a model and find ways of deepening and enhancing our prayer life - individually and corporately.

Do come and join us for this thought provoking theme and time for worship and reflection - also for tea and cake at 5.45pm!

Tabletalk will start at noon with a bring and share lunch (or bring your own if on a special diet), followed by a discussion on a topical subject.

Although we will have a short opening or closing prayer and maybe a relevant Bible reading it is open to everyone from any church community or none.

A said service of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month. The 1662 Book of Common Prayer is used in traditional language.

This quiet, reflective fourth Sunday service contains music, hymns, bible readings and periods of silence in the Celtic tradition. You don’t have to be “religious” to attend. Those with faith, those without faith and those who are searching, are all very welcome.

Be uplifted by music and scripture.

The Remembrance Service at St John’s will be led by Revd Heather Brearey and we look forward to welcoming members from the Armed Forces.

The service will be live-streamed as usual particularly as we may have larger numbers than normal for a Sunday service. We will finish the service outside at the War Memorial.
