Church of England Diocese of Winchester Ashmansworth

St James

Our church is opened every Sunday for socially distanced private prayer between 9.30 am and 4.30pm.

During the Coronavirus lockdown, we are worshipping via Zoom meetings with our sister churches in the North West Hampshire Benefice. For the time being, our regular services are suspended but due to the irregular pattern, services will be shown on a one-off basis as announced - in April 2021, Easter Service at 4pm and Evensong on Sunday 11th at 6pm. Hopefully, we will be able to return to normal service before too long!

The parish of Ashmansworth: St James is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Winchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
