St Michael & All Angels, Highclere
From Sunday 27th June all the services across our Benefice will be held in church. For July 2021 we expect to have our regular pattern of services, with some minor changes. For August we plan our usual 'pilgrimage', holding a Benefice Communion service in each church in turn.
Until the next stage of the Government's lockdown-lifting, we continue to observe social distancing, the use of face coverings and - alas! - singing only by a limited choir in those churches that sport one.
St Michael & All Angels
Our church is planned to be open every Sunday for socially distanced private prayer, generally between 10am and 3pm.
During the Coronavirus lockdown, we are worshipping via Zoom meetings with our sister churches in the North West Hampshire Benefice. For the time being, our regular services are suspended but due to the irregular pattern, services will be shown on a one-off basis as announced - in April 2021, Easter Service at 4pm and evensong on Sunday 18th at 6pm.
The parish of Crux Easton: St Michael & All Angels is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Winchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Most churches are “Excepted Charities” and are therefore not registered with the Charity Commission. You can download a PDF that includes your church name, address and church code. This PDF, which is an extract from the Church of England’s database of churches, can serve as a certificate for churches requiring proof of their charity status when registering for online and card-based giving. Click on the download button below and fill in the short form. You will then be emailed the certificate as a PDF.
