About Us

We are a friendly village church close to Romsey, worshipping regularly in our beautiful church building constructed in 1876.

Our accessible Common Worship services include traditional & contemporary hymns and songs, Bible readings, prayers, and a sermon - and are always followed with refreshments and a chance to chat!  Our usual pattern of worship is:

- On the lst & 3rd Sundays from 9.30 we celebrate Holy Communion, and on the 4th Sunday from 9.30 we hold Morning Worship

- On the 2nd Sunday from 9.00  we enjoy a short Family Breakfast service at Awbridge Village Hall

- On the 1st Sunday evening from 19.00 there is monthly contemporary Informal Worship service for the Benefice

We host a Coffee Hub at the church every Tuesday morning from 9.15 - 11.15 and we run The Ark - a baby and toddler group every Friday during term time from 9.30 - 11.00 at Awbridge Village Hall.  There are also regular prayer meetings, house groups, lunch clubs, craft and chat & social events.

We actively support and promote Messy Church - usually at All Saints Braishfield on Friday afternoons at half term and on specific dates in the school holidays, and we are part of team that visit 3 local primary schools to offer Open the Book story telling sessions.

We are an outward looking church seeking to serve our local community, and regularly support Southampton City Mission food bank, SCRATCH and other charities.

Our church is one of five in the United Benefice of Braishfield and we have links with St Peter & St Pauls Kings Somborne.

Our Rector, Revd Tom Benson brings extensive experience of rural parishes and has a love of motorbikes and meeting people in our local communities. If you would like to contact him directly his number is 01794 368335.

Our Associate Priest, Revd Jane Thompson has established links across the Benefice with families, children, schools and the local community. If you would like to contact her directly her number is 01794 502034.

The parish of All Saints Awbridge is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer - Katie Walton - who can be contacted on 07876 214147.
