2026 will be a very significant year for All Saints Church Awbridge as we will be celebrating our 150th birthday throughout the year with a series of varied and exciting events for the whole community,
The 150th Anniversary Exhibition in the church which will be open Mon 3 August – Friday 14 August during the daytime.
The exhibition tells the story of the church through the stained glass, through records of families who lived in the village, and through clergy, parishioners, visitors, and others associated with the church over the years. Each window sill reflects some of these ideas together with meadow style flowers which surround our village and the land on which the church is built.
There is a Pimms and Hymns event on Sunday 30 August from 5.00 to 6.30 pm - You can nominate your favourite hymns and worship songs by placing your requests in the box in the church porch
And looking forward to September, after the Harvest Festival Service on Sunday 27 September from 9.30 am, there is a Harvest Lunch at Awbridge Village Hall from 12 noon to 2.30 pm - including a talk by Rev Tom Benson about his recent bike trip that followed the journeys of St Paul. Tickets are just £15 per person or £30 for a family, and can be purchased by clicking on this link: Harvest Lunch Tickets
