St Denys Church, Southampton

St Denys Church is a down-to-earth and vibrant mix of people who are rooted in the love of God, embedded in the local community and journeying together through life in faith, with all the ups and downs that this entails. We each have different strengths & struggles; perspectives & interests and we believe this diversity enriches all of us. Everyone is welcome to be part of St Denys, and that includes you.

We seek to grow disciples who:

Connect - through supporting one another and building friendships

Worship - through creating services and spaces that help people to turn their hearts and minds to God

Deepen - through offering a range of groups and activities that enable people to encounter and explore life with Christ.

Engage - through listening to, praying for and supporting initiatives that address global and local issues.

Sunday Service with Communion- In the Building

Occuring
Every Sunday at for 1 hour
Venue
St Denys Church, Southampton
Address
Dundee Road St Denys Southampton, SO17 2ND, United Kingdom

An informal Common Worship communion service combining music, prayers, Bible readings and a short talk. People of wide range of ages come along, and there's always either a group for kids to nurture their faith (Mustard Seeds) or activities and crafts are available for kids and their carers to do together to grow faith together (The Vine). Sometimes there is a baptism as part of the service. Whether you are young or old, familiar with church or simply intrigued, asking lots of question or feeling you're on solid ground... you are welcome.

Here at St. Denys church we have the long term goal to become an ecological friendly church. Discover the behind-the-scenes story of a step we took towards this: switching our 140 light bulbs from halogen to LED!
