St Thomas

Welcome to St Thomas', Crown East and Rushwick.  St Thomas's is the parish Church for Crown East and Rushwick within the Worcestershire West Rural Team.  Our vicar is the Reverend Anne Potter and her details can be found below.

The present Church of St Thomas was originally built in the 1840’s as a private chapel by the Bramwell family beside Crown East Court. It was moved and rebuilt on the main road to Bromyard where it still stands and was licensed for public worship on the 26th October 1876 by the Bishop of Worcester.

Although the churches at Leigh, Alfrick and Suckley are now open for private prayer, please note that St Thomas' will not be opening at this time.

The parish of Crown East, Rushwick is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Worcester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services
