Join us for a Eucharist for Ash Wednesday, which will include imposition of ashes for anyone who would like to take part in this (this involves the priest drawing a cross on a person's forehead with ash). Music will be led by the choir and organ.

Join us as celebrate the Eucharist using modern language (Common Worship). Music usually led by choir and organ. The Children's Church meet during the service.

Children’s Church takes place alongside the main Sunday service, which starts at 10.30am, on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Sunday of every month. The children leave the main service shortly after the start and then re-join the service for Communion. The sessions include a story and a related activity. These activities are often arts or crafts but will cover a wide range of different activities. Anyone is welcome to attend - toys for babies and toddlers are also available. Refreshments are available after the service.

A weekly discussion group during Lent. We will be looking back at and discussing the previous week's daily reflections on the Church of England's theme for Lent 2026: "Draw Near: Life-giving habits for Lent". The daily reflections will be available in printed booklets, available through the Everyday Faith app or by signing up for daily emails. The sessions will last about 15 minutes and will be standalone sessions with no obligation to attend every session. Join us when you're able!

The midweek Eucharist is a said, quiet service (no hymns or other sung parts) on Tuesdays at 10am, and lasts around 25 minutes, using the Book of Common Prayer. All are welcome for a little quiet reflection in the midst of the week's business. Followed by refreshments.

This is a sung evening act of worship using the traditional Book of Common Prayer. Music led by the Choir.

First Saturday of each month, starting at 4pm (doors open and drinks available from 3.30pm) finishing at 5.30/6pm.
Crafts and activities based on a theme, followed by a short worship session, and ending with a shared meal.

A Eucharist for Maundy Thursday during which the church will be stripped bare. Music led by the choir.

Morning Prayer on Good Friday.

Each month Messy Church meets for crafts and activities based on a theme, followed by a short worship session, and ending with a shared meal. Messy Church usually meets on the afternoon of first Saturday of the month, however In a change to the usual pattern, Messy Church will be meeting on the morning of Good Friday, from 10am to 11.30am. In view of the time, the session will include snacks rather than a meal.

Stations of the Cross for Good Friday

A solemn and prayerful service as we reflect on the cross and Jesus's willingness to die for us. With music from the choir and organ.

Tenebrae is the Latin word for "shadows" or "darkness". The service of Tenebrae makes use of light and dark and music to reflect on Jesus' journey to the cross up to the point of his crucifixion. A series of readings from the Gospel are interspersed with reflective music. We will mostly be using Taizé music. There are 10 candles which are lit at the start of the service and one is extinguished after each reading. The service begins at 8pm, which will be dusk. The service will last about an hour so that by the end of the service, as the sunsets and the candles are extinguished, we leave in darkness.
