St John-in-Bedwardine

We are in the St Johns suburb of the city of Worcester (the 'Village in the City'), on the west side of the River Severn. As part of the Worcester City West Team of Churches, we work particularly closely with St Michael's in Dines Green.

The church sits visibly in the middle of the community, and we welcome people of all ages and backgrounds at all our services and events. Our building is usually open during the day for anyone who would like to pray or just have some quiet time.

Safeguarding

The parish of St John-in-Bedwardine is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO. The Diocese of Worcester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
