Elmley Castle now has a newly remodelled ring of bells six bells for full circle ringing and four old bells for chiming only.

All of our bells have electromagnetic hammers fitted making it possible to play tunes as well as traditional change ringing.

The heaviest full circle ringing bell is 12 cwt and the old tenor weighs 17cwt.

This newly created ring makes Elmley an ideal learning place for those wanting to take up ringing, or to try out and have a go to see if it's for you.

Practice nights will start on Friday 26th June and every Friday thereafter from 7.30 - 9pm.
