Second Sunday of Trinity
Collect
Lord, you have taught us
that all our doings without love are nothing worth:
send your Holy Spirit and pour into our hearts that most excellent gift of love,
the true bond of peace and of all virtues,
without which whoever lives is counted
dead before you.
Grant this for your only Son Jesus Christ’s sake,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Something different this Sunday!
A Family Nature Walk. You and your family are invited to meet at St John the Baptist Church in White Ladies Aston at 10.30am and join others walking to St Michael’s, Churchill for prayer and refreshments. On the walk there will be a treasure hunt to take part in and an opportunity together to look at the marvels of God’s creation – His natural world - which we in our Benefice are so privileged to enjoy.
If you feel you can’t take part in the walk please do drive to the St Michael’s and join the walkers for prayers and refreshments.
A Thank you

How are you feeling? What are we doing to God’s world? Here are some prayers which may help……
God. I am feeling very alone right now.
Even when people are around me.
Sometimes I feel afraid. Sometimes I feel worthless. Please help me know I matter to you.
Help me to feel you near me.
Show me how to connect more deeply with others, and find new comfort and hope. Amen.
(based on Psalm 25 verse 126)
God, life isn’t going the way I expected.
I feel insecure and afraid.
I don’t know what will happen to me or those I care about. It seems really unfair.
Help me to know what to do.
If this means a new start, give me the strength
and confidence to move forward. Amen.
(based on Psalm 34 verse 17)
It is that time again when the teenagers we love can be at a loss. Just finishing GCSE and A Levels; worried about the results and what the future holds. Will they get the grades for university they need? Will the apprenticeship they have set their heart on be what they want? Will a job turn up? We think of them.
