Are you interested in exploring learning to Bell Ring either in our beautiful tower or handbells in the church, with our friendly groups of bell-ringers? An ancient art, good for gentle exercise, great way to meet others in the community, and simply good fun! Please message us if you would like to come along on [email protected]
The tower bells will ring out today for an hour, telling the story of the community. If you would like to sponsor a two-minute slot of ringing in celebration or remembrance, please go to the attachment on the bottom of this page and download a sponsor form. Please check availability before sponsoring, and we will then also be able to advise you of your time slot. There is a recommended donation of £10 per slot - you will receive a certificate, and names can be added to our prayer area for the month of October. Let's ring out our love across the community.

In church but if the weather is good in the summer, we sometimes hold the service outside in the churchyard.

On the First Saturday of every month. Our coffee mornings are for bereaved families who have experienced the heartbreak of losing a baby during pregnancy, at birth or soon after. Come along for support and understanding in a safe and compassionate environment, with tea, coffee and biscuits and some gentle craft activities on offer. Whether you're seeking advice, friendship or simply a listening ear, come and share together with parents and grandparents who have walked a path similar to your own. There is always an opportunity to light a candle for your loved one, and to say their name in love.
A gentle time to pray together, remembering all who have died and holding them in prayer, and especially those dear to us. Names will be read of those who have died, and there is an opportunity to light candles.
Holy Communion with Hymns and optional Sunday Club for children, followed by refreshments, with a Remembrance theme ... starting at the earlier time of 9.15am in order to allow time for a cup of tea before the Act of Remembrance at 10.45 at the Outdoor Cross (please see separate tab under events and worship)
A short outdoor act of Remembrance, led by lay-reader, Charles Morgan, with a two minutes' silence, held at the Oak War Memorial Cross in the churchyard. Do gather at the church if you don't know where this is. All are welcome
Meeting at the Community Centre on Colley Lane, the parade will lead down to Church led by the Royal British Legion, Deputy Lord Lieutenant, and the Cross. We will gather at the War Memorial for the Wreath Laying and move to the Church for a time of worship and Act of Remembrance. Refreshments will follow at the Community Centre, following the parade back.
All are very welcome to attend.

Retiring collection in aid of St Peter's Community Vision Project to improve the community facilities of our church.
In our Parish there are five church buildings, all part of one family. This Sunday there is no worship at S. Peter's as we worship together at our sister Church, S. Peter, Lapal... for a wonderful warm time of worship with Holy Communion and hymns. All are welcome as we celebrate

Carols for the season of Advent - looking forward to the coming of the New Born King, a time of gentle worship with advent carols, prayers and poetry. Our visiting Choir, Oakville Singers, will also sing some beautiful advent choral music to melt the heart as we begin to follow the star and prepare our hearts for the coming King
A gentle carol service for all who are finding the season difficult, whether through grief, sorrow or any other reason. With opportunity to hang a named bauble on our tree of love, which will remain there throughout the Christmas Season
Family activities and simple worship for children on the theme of Looking Forward to Christmas - the greatest gift of all. Lots of fun activities, songs and simple prayers for children aged 2 - 10, all finished with a simple meal. A lovely way to re-connect with the Real Meaning of Christmas. All are welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult
A time to sing all your favourite carols! Come into a beautiful candlelit church, and start your Christmas together with carols and readings from the Christmas Story, all followed up by mince pies and mulled wine. Candles for adults, and light wands for the children - light and love for everyone
Why not start Christmas with a little candlelight and carols and celebrate the old fashioned way? Candlelit Carols for all the family as we tell the Christmas Story and bring the figures to the Crib to be blessed for Christmas. The Church aglow with candles and full of warmth and cheer. Christingle oranges for all the family, singing carols in the light of the Christingle Candles, and our wonderful Christmas Trees - and we raise money for the Children's Society. All followed by mince pies and mulled wine. Come early to get a seat as this service is very popular for all the community

Holy Communion for all the family with carols and celebration as we welcome the new born Jesus. Sing some of your favourite carols to start Christmas Day and share in a little love and community over refreshments. There is a play area and activities for children. Children are welcome to bring a new toy/ present with them for blessing and thanksgiving. All are welcome
A gentle, short, said Holy Communion with a Carol, to keep the Christmas Celebrations going. We remember on this day the first Martyr of our faith - S. Stephen, as we hold into the light of Christmas all the pain and violence of the world. Why not take a little time out on the start of this holy day to give thanks for all that has been over Christmas, and to continue to celebrate together. Christmas is too good to be over on the 25th December....
