We are pleased to announce that the Rev Rich Hackett, Priest in Charge of Darby End and Netherton will be joining us as our Priest in Charge.  Rev Rich is a localish lad living in Bromsgrove for most of his young life.  He has a BSc in Computer Science, and worked for Cadburys for 16 years in the IT department prior to being ordained.  He is married to Jo who he met when he was 15, and they have 3 children.

Prior to taking his first post in Darby End and Netherton, Rev served his Curacy from 2018 in Old Hill, primarily managing their Mission and Outreach team, setting up a Food Bank at the start of Covid, and rolling a Debt Management centre in behind it, to "ensure we truly turn off the tap, rather than just putting a bucket under it."
