This is very much an all age service where children (of all ages) are most welcome. The service is lay-led and whilst generally following a familiar pattern, can also involve representation of the Gospel in dramatic form. As always there will be refreshments afterwards and a chance to have a chat. Please do join us too if you are a visitor to the village - we'd love to meet you in this informal and friendly setting.

An opportunity for quiet reflection on the events of that first Good Friday leading up to the Crucifixion but mixed with with our joy in the knowledge of the approaching Resurrection at Easter.

Lay-led service celebrating Easter Day. This will be followed by the traditional Easter Egg Hunt in the Churchyard (or in the Church if wet). Everyone of all ages welcome at this special service recalling and celebrating the Resurrection.

The annual public meeting is open to all members of the parish of Husthwaite. It is held in the Church itself starting at 9:30 am. The main public meeting is to elect Churchwardens. This is followed by the Annual Meeting of the PCC (Parochial Church Council). It reviews the previous year and, importantly, the plans and activities for 2026. This is where, among other things, the members of the PCC for the forthcoming year are elected. Please do consider becoming a member - the next years are important for our village church as it seeks to bring to fruition significant plans for 'reordering' - provision of toilets, community space, access to every one to all parts of the building and grounds. Husthwaite is a lively community with many skills freely given. We would love to welcome anyone who would like to help. It could be you! Finally, the first PCC meeting of the new year is held.
