On Sundays when the Vicar is not available we sometimes hold a service led by our lay team. It allows us to experiment. In place of a formal sermon there may be some other form of presentation. When there is a fifth Sunday we hold an ecumenical service with our Methodist friends. Please see notice board for details.

St Nicholas

The parish church of St Nicholas stands high above the Main Street overlooking the Village Community Shop and Post Office.

It is open daily to visitors from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m

We welcome visitors at any of our services, listed below. 

The church porch, which is never locked, houses one of the village's defibrillators as well as a receptacle for gifts for the local food bank. A PIR detector turns the light on if you enter after dark.
