Heslington Church is an ecumenical Christian community where Anglicans and Methodists worship and serve together. We gather in the heart of the village for prayer, worship, and community life, welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds.

Family Fun Day

for 3 hours

Join us on Saturday 5th September, 1–4 PM, for a free Family Fun Day in the beautiful Heslington Church grounds. It’s a mini‑festival filled with nature, creativity, and activities for all ages.

Enjoy The Nature Stage, The Cardboard Caricature Stall, and Self‑Led Forest Adventures . There will be a bake sale and refreshments and a range of fun competitions — bring along your entry for the best homemade bug hotel, best flower posy in a jam jar, or best cupcake decoration .

All proceeds support Forest Church equipment and sessions. All Are Welcome.

Heslington Church is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(PSO). The Diocese of York’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO.
