Storytime takes place on the last Sunday of the month during the service and is for children under 7. It’s a chance for children to gather in our dedicated children’s room, hear a story, and respond through crafts, activities, and play.

There is also a space at the back of church with toys and crafts for any children who prefer to stay in the main worship area.

Heslington Church

Heslington Church is an ecumenical Christian community where Anglicans and Methodists worship and serve together. We gather in the heart of the village for prayer, worship, and community life, welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds.

Safeguarding

Heslington Church is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(PSO). The Diocese of York’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
