We are expecting the fitting of the handrails to the porch, church and vestry entries at the end of May. Local Architectural metalworking specialists Andrew Brind Ltd. will supply and fit handrails to the architect and D.A.C. approved design. The design is required to meet specific standards that take into account the building needs, but especially the requirements for purpose. The additional handrails will provide secure and easier access to the church for those in need of support when entering or leaving the church. We give many thanks to the local Parish Council who have made a grant for 50% of the total cost. The church is a community building open to all and enjoys high level of visitors every year. The church yard has common wealth war graves and has many community focussed services through the year, the addition of the handrails will be of great benefit.
