Welcome to our beautiful and peaceful church with a Saxon tower where people have sat, reflected, prayed and worshipped for 1000 years.
We are on the Wolds Way and you are welcome to join any of our services or to just come inside and enjoy the tranquillity. You can also make use of the self-serve tea and coffee facilities.
It costs us £8 per day to keep the church open so if you are able to help us by making a donation we would be very grateful and we have both cash and card facilities.
Our parish of Wharram: St Mary is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of York’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.
