We have been pleased to hold services in our churches through this year. However, we remain cautious for the protection of ourselves and others. There is no requirement to wear a face covering but please do so if you wish.Hand sanitiser is provided near the entrance to the church.Seating during services is unrestricted but if you wish to be placed at a distance from other worshippers then speak to one of the sidespersons as you enter. At communion services we have returned to using the common cup. However, the option for'intinction' remains - where The Host (wafer) is dipped in the consecrated wine. Please just indicate your preference for this to the celebrant when you come to the alter rail for communion. Our church is open every day for personal prayer and you are welcome to come inside and sit for a while. Do help yourself to tea/coffee/cold water and biscuits available just inside the door.We would also love to welcome you at our Harton Benefice Morning Worship online on the first Sunday of the month at 9am. Join us from your home. We remain as the living church and we reach out to all in whatever way we can. Please visit our Benefice website where you will find resources to help us to be together in prayer and worship online. The website will also post any updates to the present directives: www.sandhuttongroup.org.ukOur thoughts and prayers are, as always, with you.Be safe, be kind, stay strong.
Everyone in the church community wants to ensure that there is a welcome for all people and we have a responsibility for their safety, well-being and protection.Safeguarding is about preventing harm, abuse or neglect to children and vulnerable adults wherever possible. All eight parishes (and the ten churches) in our Benefice share the same policies and guidelines that you can find on the Benefice website here:https://www.sandhuttongroup.org.uk/safeguarding/
