SUNDAY SERVICES
St. Peter's is normally open for public worship each Sunday at 10:45am. Our Band and Choir assist with the leading of worship. On the first and third Sundays of each month, the Band usually plays for worship, and on the second and fourth Sundays of the month the Choir sings. Sometimes we have both Choir and Band, for special occasions.
VISITING THE CHURCH
St. Peter's is open every day for visitors to come in, enjoy the peace and calm, pray, appreciate the history and beauty of the building ... and use the facilities.
CHRISTENINGS and WEDDINGS
We are receiving quite a lot of enquiries for christenings and weddings for 2023 - 2025 and have a system to help us manage the enquiries. It would really help us to avoid double-bookings and so on if you could use the following designated email address:-

SAFEGUARDING
St Peter's Church is thoroughly committed to the safeguarding of all children, young people and vulnerable adults. Please do inform us if you have any concerns about safeguarding in and around St. Peter's Church.
We follow the Church of England's guidance and policies, as agreed by the Bishops, and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, Sally Johnson. Sally can be contacted via the following email address: [email protected] or via mobile phone: 07446 885654.
Rev. Simon Elliott is responsible for promoting safeguarding at St. Peter's and in five other parishes - Beswick, Watton, Nafferton, Skerne and Wansford. You can ring him on 01377 271592 or email: [email protected]
Posters placed in the entrance porch and on the notice board inside the Church give further information on Safeguarding as does our safeguarding page.
