The usual pattern is a choral service of Holy Communion on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sundays with Morning Praise on the 4th Sunday. Please check the church noticeboard for any variation to this pattern.

Come and hear the wonderful Minster organ put through its paces in this free series of organ recitals, followed by refreshments. A Big Screen is used to allow you to see the performer in action.

Weekly Organ Recitals on the acclaimed 1929 Rushworth and Dreaper organ are held on Monday's at 1pm from 29 June to 31 August. There is also a special celebrity concert by renowned Norwegian organist Victoria Ulriksen on Friday 21 August at 7pm.

Big screen TV's are set up so you can see the organist at the console, and wonderful cake and refreshments are available after the concerts.

Free admission with retiring donations to maintain the Minster organ.

BELL RINGING PRACTICE

Join us for a short service of said Communion using the Book of Common Prayer.

Our mixed choir of young choristers and adults meet on a Friday night.
Currently, rehearsals are from 6.30-8.30pm although the time can be flexible, so please check first.

We are always looking for new members of all voice types. Please email our Director of Music, Matthew Collins on [email protected] for more information.

This is usually the highly reflective Choral Evensong (BCP). Led by the choir. At some times of the year it may be replaced by something seasonal. No service in August.

All-age event every 3rd Sunday at Howden Minster and one off Special Events.
Please note: all children must be in the charge of a responsible adult.
Sorry, we cannot take unaccompanied children for Messy Church, but adults will enjoy the fun along with the children.
