Wressle church is open all day, every day. Enjoy the peace, the time to pray, and God’s loving presence with you. There are children’s crafts, books & toys for the enjoyment of our younger visitors.  There is also seating in the churchyard and views over the river Derwent.

Service held on 1st Sunday of month 0930 for around 40 mins. Music, peace and community.

Easter Day celebration: 0930 Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with a family communion & dressing the outdoor cross with flowers . Followed by an Easter egg hunt for children & smartphone Easter Lego trail hunt . Crafts for kids during service. 

Wressle church is 200m west from Wressle train station. There is free, limited roadside parking outside church ; there is a car park outside Wressle village hall,  adjacent to station 200m away. 

There is a Wheelchair ramp behind porch door. No toilets or water.

Safe Spaces is a free and independent support service for anyone who has experienced abuse in relation to the Church of England, the Church in Wales, or the Catholic Church of England and Wales. You do not have need to have told the police or the church authorities, and you do not have to still be involved with the church. Safe Spaces can provide a range of help, including advocating with authorities and other agencies, giving emotional support, providing information (including information on church and police procedures), understanding your needs and working together on individual support plans.

After twenty years in post as Rector of Howden Minster and the surrounding parishes, the Rev James Little will be retiring after Easter. His final service, which will be followed by a parish lunch, will be on Sunday 12 April at 11am in Howden Minster. All are welcome as we bid farewell to James and wish him well in his retirement.
