We commemorate the beginning of Our Lord's passion, suffering and death with a reflective service, ending with the stripping of all removable decoration and adornment from the building, followed by an opportunity for those who wish to stay in church and spend time in prayer, meditation or thought.

With Kirkbymoorside Churches Together - we join with Christians of all traditions as witnesses to the suffering and death of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

We meet in the dark church in preparation to greet the coming of the first light of Easter - the kindling of the new life of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
