DALTON 150

2018 - and St John's Church will have served the village of Dalton for the last 150 years. We will be having a year of activities, beginning with a Songs of Praise in thanksgiving for our heritage on Sunday 21st January at 4.00pm. We are delighted that we will be joined by the Thirsk Royal British Legion Band.

An Afternoon with Phil Thomas, former secretary to the Diocesan Advisory Committee, a great enthusiast and mine of information.

Phil will talk about this gem of a Butterfield Church, with windows by William Morris, Ford Madox Brown, and Edward Burne-Jones.

The Talk begins at 2.00pm, and is followed by wine and cheese.
