August is often a time when many of our congregation and staff are away on holiday or attending conferences, house parties and summer camps. Others will be joining them online where possible.However, there will still be a good number who will be worshipping at St Luke’s with our Sunday service at 10:30am and visitors are always welcome. There will be a special Lego Service on Sunday 9th August. A large team will be taking part in St Luke’s Holiday Club in the first week of August. Breakfast Club will continue to be held fortnightly during the summer. The Tuesday morning service will take a break on Tuesday 4th August but the rest of the time will be a mixture of Holy Communion or Service of the Word services. Do join us for coffee just after 11am even if you do not wish to come to the services. All our events for toddlers, children and young people will be taking a break but you can expect us to restart some time after 7th September. Watch out for further details.
Holy Communion is celebrated once a month at 8am in the Chapel. Please see the list of dates in the Services and events section.On the occasions in June when it is Holy Communion at 10:30am, we will be assisted by the Revd Robert Fletcher.In the evenings we shall be studying Spiritual Armour from Ephesians Chapter 6.
