Our Sunday morning service follows the traditional pattern of Common Worship, rooted in the rich and reverent heritage of Anglican worship. We begin with hymns and prayer, hear readings from Scripture, and a sermon that seeks to apply God’s Word to everyday life.
Most Sundays include the celebration of Holy Communion. All who usually receive in their own church are warmly invited to share in the bread and wine, or to come forward for a blessing.
After the service, we gather in the church hall for tea, coffee, and good conversation. Visitors are always very welcome.

St Johns, Studley

Welcome to St John’s, Studley.

We’re a church family trying to serve God and our community with warmth, faithfulness, and genuine friendship. Whether you’ve been part of church life for years or you’re simply curious, we’re glad you’re here.

Every Sunday we gather for worship in the modern‑catholic tradition, with the Eucharist at the heart of our life together. Our service follows the familiar pattern of Common Worship, with hymns, Scripture, prayer, and a sermon that connects faith with everyday life. Sharing Holy Communion each week is central to who we are, a moment of reverence, thanksgiving, and belonging as we gather around the Lord’s Table. After the service, we head over to the church hall for tea, coffee, and time to catch up with one another.

During the week, our Community Chat Café meets every Monday and Wednesday from 10:00–11:30am in the church hall. There’s always fresh coffee, home‑baked treats, and a friendly welcome. Some people come for a chat, others for a quiet moment with a cuppa — everyone is welcome just as they are.

At St John’s, there’s no dress code, no expectations, and no need to have everything sorted. We’re simply a community of people trying to follow Jesus and support one another along the way. If you’re looking for connection or hoping to find a place to belong, you’ll find a warm welcome here.
