Trinity 18 - Harvest Thanksgiving [04.10.2026]

for 1 hour
Saint Luke's Anglican Church - Fontainebleau
Eglise Anglicane de Fontainebleau 57 Rue de Fleury Fontainebleau, 77300, France

Dear Friends,

We will have this coming Sunday our Harvest Thanksgiving service. This will be a Service of the Word service, and it will be led by the Reverend Dr Donald McFadyen, our chaplain. The service sheet is attached.

This Sunday is the third of our series of four services looking closely at the story of Joseph. It will be a little different in form, to enable us to delve deeply into the story, and adults and children will remain together in church. Our service will also be our Harvest Festival. As we’ve done in the past we’re going to donate the food we collect to the Resto du Coeur in Avon.

If you would like to find out more about Confirmation or Baptism, for you or your children, please don’t hesitate to be in touch with Donald ([email protected]).

You are most welcome at Saint-Luke's, do not hesitate to invite your family and friends!

Love in Christ.

Safeguarding

The protection from harm of children, young persons and adults who may be vulnerable is of paramount importance to St. Luke’s. The chaplaincy council is committed to upholding the requirements and best practices of the Diocese in Europe Safeguarding Policy and Protocol and has therefore adopted the Chaplaincy Safeguarding Protocol proposed by the diocese. Our chaplaincy safeguarding protocol can be consulted on the noticeboard at the back of the chapel or by clicking on the link "St. Luke’s Safeguarding Protocol" that you will find in the "Chaplaincy Safeguarding Policy" section.

Further information is available on the Diocesan website.
