We are most grateful to Georgina Walters who has created this video of our Flower Festival. She has captured the flowers, the food, the entertainment, the visitors and helpers to produce a special record of our weekend. We celebrated our 'eco' credentials by not using floral foam in our flower arrangments and adhering where possible to LOAF (local, organic, animal friendly and fair traded). There were eco games and an art activity.

The art activity was a great success. It was also eco-friendly; utilizing materials, such as cardboard for the picture and frame and old magazines for collage, that would otherwise have been discarded. The activity promoted environmental awareness by looking carefully at and reproducing paintings of the local countryside and flowering plants. See photos.
