STOP PRESS

November and December are busy months at Wimbish Church. Please look at the Services and Events page for our special services, Angel Festival and Christmas Bazzar. Everyone is most welcome - we look forward to seeing you!

NB some of the events are at St Mary's Saffron Walden - so please don't get confused!

Welcome to Wimbish Church which has been a place of prayer and worship in this community from the early 12th Century. Although located a little way out of the Tye Green hamlet of the village, off Maple Lane, the church is an integral part of village community life. Alongside regular services we hold social activities where church and community members mix freely meeting in St Paul's Mission Hall, Tye Green, or in the church and grounds itself. Festival Services welcome larger numbers from the community to the church along with the pupils from Wimbish School a few times a year.

Our vicar is the Reverend Lynda Sebbage and she can be contacted
