On Trinity Sunday 12th June at 3pm at All Saints Parish Church, Northallerton, Melanie Burnside is being ordained Priest.
All our congregations, friends and supporters of Melanie and her ministry are invited to attend. There is plenty of parking in Northallerton and there will be bring and share refreshments afterwards.
The Ordination Service outlines the ministry of a Priest and it reminds those being ordained, ‘You cannot bear the weight of this calling in your own strength, but only by the grace and power of God.’
Please give thanks for Melanie’s ministry as a Deacon and pray for her as she is ordained Priest and afterwards that she may know ever more deeply the grace and power of God.
On Sunday 19th June at All Saints and St James Parish Church Nunnington at 11 am at the Benefice Service Melanie will preside at her first Holy Communion. Revd Andrew De Smet is our Guest Preacher and he will also Bless the newly restored Bells.
