What the PCC Is
The Parochial Church Council (PCC) is the elected leadership team that works with the vicar to support the life, mission, and ministry of our parish. We have one PCC serving all three of our churches, working together as a single team while honouring the unique character and needs of each worshipping community.
How Our PCC Works Across Three Churches
To make sure every church is fully represented, our PCC includes members from each of the three congregations. This ensures that the views, priorities, and experiences of all our churches are heard and reflected in our decisions. Our aim is to work collaboratively so that the whole parish flourishes.
What the PCC Does
Shapes our shared mission — discerning how we serve our communities and deepen discipleship across the parish.
Oversees worship and ministry — supporting services, pastoral care, and ministries in all three churches.
Cares for our buildings — ensuring each church building is safe, welcoming, and well‑maintained.
Manages parish finances — stewarding resources wisely and planning for the future.
Upholds safeguarding — keeping children, young people, and adults safe in every setting.
Supports events and outreach — encouraging activities that help each church connect with its local community.
Who Serves on the PCC
Our PCC includes clergy, churchwardens, and elected lay members from each of the three churches. Members serve for a fixed term and are elected at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM). If you’re interested in serving or want to know more about what’s involved, we’d be delighted to talk with you.
Annual Report
