Bio:
Paul Greally (b.2001) is the Assistant Organist at Westminster Abbey. In this role, he works alongside the Sub-Organist and Organ Scholar in playing for services in the Abbey, assisting with conducting the Abbey Choir, and with training the choristers. He studies with David Titterington at the Royal Academy of Music for the MA in Organ Performance, and is supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust.

He became a prize-winning Fellow of the Royal College of Organists as a teenager, and read Music at King's College, Cambridge, where he was the organ scholar for four years. During this time he performed regularly on TV and live radio, including for Carols from King’s and A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, which were broadcast worldwide, and at venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), and Sydney Opera House. He graduated with a BA (starred double first) and an MPhil (distinction), gaining the highest marks in his cohort for both degrees. In his final year, he was the Musical Director for the King’s Men, the close-harmony group of King’s College Choir’s adult singers.

Bio:
Andrew was a music scholar at King's College, Cambridge and studied piano with Dennis Murdoch at the Royal Academy of Music. Since retiring as a school Director of Music, latterly at Ipswich School, he has been able to devote more time to music making. Performances over the last two years have included: Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy with Woodbridge Choral Society at Snape Maltings, directing and playing the solo piano part, both from memory; trios by Brahms and Glinka, Fauré’s Piano Quartet no. 1 with the Gainsborough Quartet, accompanying tenors Richard Edgar-Wilson and Keith Lewis, Stravinsky’s Petrushka with the Wolsey Orchestra and five piano recitals.

Andrew is conductor of Woodbridge Choral Society, with whom highlights in recent years have included: Verdi Requiem, Britten War Requiem, Mendelssohn Elijah, Mozart Requiem, Ben Ponniah Begin, Vaughan Williams Dona nobis pacem and Karl Jenkins The Armed Man, all at Snape Maltings concert hall. Andrew has also been musical director of a number of operas performed in Woodbridge: The King’s River, a community opera by Jana Rowland; L’elisir d’amore; The Magic Flute and Die Fledermaus, The Barber of Seville, The Marriage of Figaro and Hansel & Gretel. He is Chairman of Ipswich Chamber Music Society and organist at St Mary Elms, Ipswich. Andrew is often seen on his bike, as he cycles to musical gigs wherever possible. He also enjoys walking, especially up the Scottish hills.
